Pray and not Give Up

Why we should always pray and never become discouraged? This question was in my heart. For me this sentence is hard to understand. Praying for me is like chatting and sharing with our Father. The Father that I know is not a deaf Father, He will listen to every detail of our prayer, and He will never forget it. He knows the best time for everything. He knows our capacity. As long as we have not got the standard, we can not get what we want. For worshiping, I know that worship continuously can help us to overcome our weakness to enter the world of the Holy Spirit. In that place our personality change, our way of thinking change, we meet our Father, understand the attribute of God, and we get the Spiritual break through. Besides, worshiping God in a long time is so peaceful and fun. If I bring this question to my Christian friends, the common answer is “because the Bible told us to”. In the past, my only reason in not giving up my prayer is because of the same reason. Deep inside my heart I wondered, “There must be a reason why we must keep praying for the same thing”. Through a talk in youtube, I finally understand. That God want us to pray continuously so we can fight our flesh, and get into the Spiritual dimension. God is Spirit; He answers our prayer through our spirit. After I understand this, my praying life have more focus.
